DESCRIPTION:
Ulf Harnhammar has reported a vulnerability in unalz, which
potentially can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a
user's system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error when handling an
".alz" archive that contains a file with an overly long filename.
This can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow when a specially
crafted ".alz" archive is extracted.

The vulnerability has been reported in version 0.52. Prior versions
may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Update to version 0.53.
