DESCRIPTION:
Luigi Auriemma has reported a vulnerability in Dual DHCP DNS Server,
which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of
Service) and potentially compromise a vulnerable system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the handling
of the DHCP options field. This can be exploited to cause a buffer
overflow which crashes the service and may allow arbitrary code
execution.
The vulnerability has been reported in version 1.0. Prior versions
may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
The vulnerability has been fixed in version 1.1 for Windows.
