IMPACT:
Cross Site Scripting

WHERE:

SOFTWARE:
AZ Bulletin Board (AZbb) 1.x
http://secunia.com/product/4938/

DESCRIPTION:
Roozbeh Afrasiabi has reported two vulnerabilities in AZ Bulletin
Board, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct
cross-site scripting attacks.

Input passed to the "topic" and "name" parameters in "post.php" isn't
properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be
exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's
browser session in context of an affected site.

The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 1.1.00 and prior.
Other versions may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
