http://secunia.com/advisories/18748/

CRITICAL:
Moderately critical

IMPACT:
Security Bypass

WHERE:

SOFTWARE:
Mailback 1.x

DESCRIPTION:
coderpunk has discovered a vulnerability in Mailback, which can be
exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security
restrictions.

Input passed to the "subject" parameter isn't properly sanitised
before being used to construct an email message. This can be
exploited to inject arbitrary email headers by inserting newline
characters in the parameter.

Successful exploitation allows the injecting of "Cc" or "Bcc"
headers, which may allow the sending of spam messages from the
server.

The vulnerability has been confirmed in mailback.pl revision 1.3.
Prior versions may also be affected

SOLUTION:
The vulnerability has been fixed in revision 1.4.
