I. BACKGROUND

"Microsoft Internet Explorer is a web browser developed by Microsoft and

as part of the Microsoft Windows line of operating systems with more than
60% of
the worldwide usage share of web browsers." (Wikipedia)

II. DESCRIPTION

VUPEN Vulnerability Research Team discovered a critical vulnerability
affecting Microsoft Internet Explorer.

The vulnerability is caused by a use-after-free error when processing
table elements, which could be exploited by remote attackers to execute
arbitrary code by tricking a user into visiting a specially crafted
web page.
